Ostroh Academy Ranked 5th Among Ukrainian Universities in the HE Higher Education Ranking 2025 Edition
On March 20, 2025, the National University of Ostroh Academy ranked 5th among 24 Ukrainian universities and secured the 73rd position among 422 higher education institutions worldwide in the HE Higher Education Ranking 2025.

“Infrastructural fragmentation, infrastructural resilience – Interdisciplinary perspectives on techno-politics and crisis”. In the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, both physical and knowledge-based infrastructures (like bridges, power plants, universities, and civil society organizations) are being systematically attacked and destroyed. These disruptions have also extended to other parts of Europe as geopolitical uncertainties rise.

Dear students! We invite you to join the free certificate program - the course “Civil Society in Modern Conflict Resolution” within the project “Civil Society in Conflict Resolution Process: EU Experience for Ukraine” (101084973 - EURoCoRP - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) implemented by the National University of Ostroh Academy with co-financing from the European Union and aimed at promoting the values of EU civil society in conflict resolution and raising awareness of modern hybrid conflicts.

A mascot for the military: The National University of Ostroh Academy
The National University of Ostroh Academy is located in the Rivne region of western Ukraine. Despite its geographical distance from the front line, the university has experienced the shock of war on its doorstep. Nevertheless, the university prepared in advance for possible difficulties. Plans were developed in advance for the civil protection of employees and students, as well as for the protection of university campuses. The experience of the COVID years also came in handy.
