“Infrastructural fragmentation, infrastructural resilience – Interdisciplinary perspectives on techno-politics and crisis”.
In the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, both physical and knowledge-based infrastructures (like bridges, power plants, universities, and civil society organizations) are being systematically attacked and destroyed. These disruptions have also extended to other parts of Europe as geopolitical uncertainties rise. The questions posed by this situation are pressing:
- What does infrastructural resilience mean in today’s world?
- How is resilience tested by various forms of attack?
- Can resilience be proactive, not just reactive, against physical and informational threats?
- What role does critical engagement play in shaping infrastructural developments?
