U-Multirank University Rankings
U-Multirank is an international ranking that has a multidimensional approach to assessing the quality of higher education institutions around the world and ensures the transparency of higher education by offering an alternative approach to comparing the performance of higher education institutions. It is not confined to research but takes into account different aspects and dimensions of the performance of universities: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. U-Multirank web tool allows comparisons to be made at the level of the university as a whole and the level of specific curricula. Based on empirical data, U-Multirank compares institutions with similar institutional profiles and allows users to create their rankings by selecting indicators according to their preferences. U-Multirank does not produce a combined, weighted score across these different areas of performance and then use these scores to produce a numbered league table.
In 2020, the ranking represented about 1,800 higher education institutions from 92 countries. The number of Ukrainian universities increased from 54 to 76 compared to the previous year. U-Multirank ranking was first published in 2014, covering more than 850 higher education institutions from more than 70 countries. U-Multirank is an independent transparent ranking prepared with Erasmus+ funding. The work of the U-Multirank consortium is overseen by the Advisory Board.
The National University of Ostroh Academy is among the top 5 universities in Ukraine in the U-Multirank University Rankings 2020. Out of 1786 higher education institutions around the world, Ostroh Academy took 305th place. In the field of political science, NUOA took 13th place among the represented Ukrainian higher education institutions. Also, our alma mater is among the Ukrainian HEIs with the highest number of highest scores in the U-Multirank University Rankings 2020.
In the International Orientation Rankings, Ostroh Academy took 261st place out of 1,061 universities in the world, thus leading the list of 53 Ukrainian universities included in the ranking, along with other higher education institutions.
In the Applied Knowledge Partnerships Ranking, the NUOA took 52nd place out of 278 universities. In the ranking of Universities of Science and Technology Rankings , our university occupies 513 positions out of 1528 universities in the world and 3rd place out of 45 higher education institutions of Ukraine.
