General information about the department
The Department of Economic-Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies was established on December 28, 2007, for providing fundamental training for specialists, who have analytical thinking and are able to assess the situation, use modern computer technologies to create and support projects, justify and make management decisions.
The highly qualified staff of the department, formed during the years of its existence, creates conditions for students for professional development and acquisition of knowledge and experience to counteract the antagonistic interests of the market environment.
In order to maintain the appropriate level of qualification, the academics of the department have internships in leading universities of Ukraine and Europe.

Scientific Activity
The academics of the department are working on the research topic “Mathematical and computer modeling of natural, man-made and economic processes and the development of information systems” (state registration number - 0119U001222). The research topic is supervised by the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Anatolii Nikitin.

- Ensuring sustainable development of cities, agglomerations of the region;
- Modeling economic and environmental security of territorial systems;
- Implementation of IT in management;
- Application of the descriptive similarity method in the formation and making managerial decisions.
Anatolii Nikitin
- Mathematical modeling and systematic analysis of asymptotic properties of stochastic equations.
Oleksandr Novoseletskyy
- Economic and mathematical modeling in digital marketing.
- Modeling consumer behavior, risks and management.
Halyna Shevchenko
- Formalization and solution of problems of uncertainty detection and optimization of goals of interaction and counteraction of coalitions.
Yuriy Kleban
- Data Science and Machine Learning in marketing and sales: modeling, classification, prediction, what-if analysis, customers segmentation.
