General information about the Department

The Department of Economic Theory, Management and Marketing was established in 2003.

The Department offers teaching following subjects: political economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, management, personnel management, strategic management, innovative enterprise development, labor economics and social-labor relations, marketing aspects of enterprise management, organization management system: formation of target and functional subsystems, management of research projects.

The Department research topic: "Theoretical-methodological and practical aspects of improving the quality of management systems of enterprises and organizations" (state registration number 0120U105285). The research topic is supervised by Doctor of Science (in Economics), Assoc. Prof. Lyudmyla Kozak.

The tasks of the Department:

  • teaching normative theoretical disciplines and organizing the educational process at the junior courses of the Faculty of Economics;
  • assisting in in-depth comprehensive study of laws and trends of modern economic development of society, models and mechanisms of its regulation;
  • formation of economic thinking and outlooks of future economists;
  • conducting scientific research on topical issues of socio-economic development of Ukraine and the world;
  • spreading the principles of Christian ethics, patriotism and humanism among students.

Scientific interests of members of the Department:

  1. Tetiana Galetska. Leasing as a form of capital investing in renovation of fixed assets of agricultural enterprises.
  2. Natalia Ivanchuk. Mechanism of enterprise payroll taxation in Ukraine.
  3. Lyudmyla Kozak. Formation of product positioning strategies of agricultural enterprises on the domestic and world markets.
  4. Natalia Topishko. Social policy. The system of social protection as a mechanism of ensuring social development. The global transformation of the modern world.

The International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Problems and prospects of the national economy development in the context of globalization" is held annually by the Department.

Based on the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers and a collection of scientific theses are published.
