This academic year, the Ostroh Academy Alumni Grant, a significant support for students, was awarded for the fifth time. It is a testament to the dedication and achievements of the non-state-funded students who excel academically and actively participate in public life. The grant, established by the OA alums, is financed on a crowdfunding basis, allowing everyone to contribute. This year's recipients are:

  • Anton V. Rydvanskyi, a 2nd year student in the 'International Relations' Major
  • Ruslana V. Savelkina, a 3rd-year student in the 'Finance and Business Analytics' Major
  • Daryna Optasiuk, a 3rd-year student in the 'Law' Major
  • Alina O. Fedorenko, a 3rd-year student in the 'English and Second Foreign (German / French) Languages. Literature. Translation.' Major
  • Diana R. Havrylenko, a 3rd-year student of the 'Public Health' Major
  • Anastasiia S Hnatenko, a 3rd-year student of the 'Economic Cybernetics' Major

'This grant is primarily aimed at uniting the academic community of our university. It aims to demonstrate that by working together, we can do significant things that align with the values and ethos of Ostroh Academy. As the coordinator of this grant, I would like to note that the selection of grantees is transparent and fair. Students themselves can apply and justify their candidacy in a motivation letter, and the selection of candidates is carried out by all the graduates who took part in the current co-funding,'

said Dmytro Shevchuk, Vice-Rector of the National University of Ostroh Academy, a 1999 graduate.

'I sincerely thank the alumni and the Academy for this opportunity. My emotions are beyond words; I am so excited because this is my first grant. I am very grateful to the alums for trying to support the students who are studying now. My parents would also like to express their gratitude. Their emotions are also hard to describe in words. I am happy I chose this university because the best people study and teach here. This support and recognition make us, the students, feel truly appreciated and valued,'

said Diana Havrylenko.

'This is an important achievement for me, and I am very grateful for the recognition of my work and the belief in my abilities and potential. The grant has become a source of financial support, inspiration for further studies, and an opportunity to realise my educational ambitions. Thanks to this, I will be able to focus more fully on my studies, and I promise that I will do my best to justify the contribution of the alumni to my development.'

expressed Daria Optasyuk.
