Congratulations to the Newly Elected Head of the Student Brotherhood - Yehor Popov!

On May 15, elections were held for the Head of the Student Brotherhood of the National University of Ostroh Academy; the winner is Yehor Popov, a second-year student majoring in International Relations.

"I decided to take this step, looking at the former Heads of the Brotherhood. I noticed how they endeavoured for the benefit of the students and realised that I wanted to do the same. This position is about the opportunity to make our university better; it is about new acquaintances and opportunities to improve myself as a person. Brotherhood is about students and for students. Therefore, it is a great honour for me to be the new Head of our student community,"

Let us remind you that previously, the body of student self-government at the university was headed by Nazar Kyryliuk, a fourth-year student majoring in Law. 

63.6% of voters supported the participant's candidacy.

The candidate's programme provides for organising mass cultural events such as the 'Battle of the Institutes and the Faculty', 'Mr. Ostrozkyi' and others; reorganising existing academic project groups and clubs and initiation of new ones, such as chess project groups, board games clubs, etc.; conducting weekly student exchanges with various universities of Ukraine; initiating thematic evenings within the walls of the university; active cooperation with the self-government of other universities.

The official meeting of the newly elected Head with the NaUOA administration took place at the meeting of the Academic Council on May 30.
