The certificate program «European security: main issues» started at Ostroh Academy

On May 2d, the certificate program «European Security: Main Issues» was initiated within the framework of the implementation of Jean Monnet's project «Self-Regulated Studies of Hybrid Threats and European Security» at the National University of Ostroh Academy.
The lecturer is Nataliia Konopka, PhD in Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, deputy director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and National Security for the Quality of Education.
«In the conditions of war, it is very important that universities have the opportunity to join European initiatives and grant activities. This allows students from Ukraine, in particular from Ostroh Academy, to use leading practices, innovations, opportunities for self-regulated learning.»
The purpose of the certificate program «European Security: Main Issues» is to increase students' awareness of the peculiarities of the European security system in the context of the approach of Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
According to Ms Nataliia, during the course students would work in an interactive way and would be able to choose the most important topics that interest them.
«Also, the most important thing is that we have the opportunity to train such personnel who will participate in the development, strategies, doctrines, tactics of European security, taking into account the experience of Ukraine today.»
The project of the direction JeanMonnet of Erasmus+ program «Self-Regulated Studies of Hybrid Threats and European Security» is aimed at promoting European principles of building a strong and secure order by using new forms and methods of communication and creating a clear vision of the European security system for target audiences.
