Rector’s Assistant Eduard Balashov took part in the National Conference on International Education

On July 6, Rector’s Assistant for International Cooperation and Fundraising of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Professor Eduard Balashov, took part in the third National Conference on International Education on recruitment of foreign citizens for study and promotion of Ukrainian higher education abroad in 2022, which took place chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Vitrenko.

Representatives of the state enterprise "Ukrainian State Center of International Education" and more than 200 Ukrainian higher education institutions took part in the meeting. During the meeting, issues of studying and admission of foreign students, participation of foreign students in international academic mobility programs, as well as legal and migration issues related to the study of foreigners in Ukrainian higher education institutions were discussed. The priority directions of this year's promotional campaign of universities were discussed and determined, and the vision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding the implementation of an effective admissions campaign was also presented.

“We hope that the results of the meeting on the admission of foreign students will be recorded at the national level, and that the admission campaign of NaUOA will be effective and successful, and we will be able to continue the successful functioning of preparatory courses for foreigners, and effectively implement opportunities for the participation of foreign students in international academic mobility programs. We are sure that Ukraine will soon win, and we will have the opportunity to fully develop our international cooperation, as well as to provide training for foreign students within the framework of the implementation of the strategy of internationalization of the National University of Ostroh Academy”,
