Teachers from Volyn in the Ostroh Academy

On March 13, the delegation of deputy directors of general educational institutions of the Horokhiv district, Volyn region visited the National University of Ostroh Academy.

The meeting began with the greetings of the Rector of the Ostroh Academy, prof. Ihor Pasichnik. The rector told about the history of the Ostroh Academy form its foundation at the times of the reign of Vasyl-Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi until its renaissance. Moreover, he emphasized:

«Today, the graduates of our university hold positions of heads of district state administrations, regional administrations, directors of banks, law offices, hold positions in IT companies, and so on. Our university provides the state with intellectual future. Therefore, your pupils should think carefully about their choices».

The head of the volunteer corps of the vocational guidance unit of the Student Brotherhood of the National University of Ostroh Academy told about the institution of higher education, the specialties which it offers, educational process and leisure activities. Also, she added that the Doors Open Day 2019 will take place at the NUOA on March 21, during which the prospective students will be able to learn more about the terms of admission and other information about the university.

Afterwards, guests had the opportunity to learn more about the history, current activity and plans of the university during the excursion.
