Lecturers of the NUOA took part in the School for Improving Academic English Writing Skills "Academic Integrity in Transitional Societies"

During three last days of May, lecturers of the National University of Ostroh Academy participated in the School for Improving Academic English Writing Skills "Academic Integrity in Transitional Societies", which took place in village Poliana, Zakarpatska Oblast. In particular, in this even took part a Head of Legal Department Olha Balatska and a lecturer of the Department of the English Language and Literature Kateryna Simak.
Academic Writing School and Studies of Changing Societies Journal: Academic Integrity in Developing Countries is administered by the American Councils for International Education, in cooperation with Studies of Changing Societies Journal, Fairfield University and Unicheck.
The School's program was aimed at bettering of the academic English writing skills of the educators of higher education institutions. During the School led by prof. Ketrin Nants and prof. David Schmidt (Fairfield University, Connecticut, USA), participants were actively involved in writing English-language articles on academic integrity for publication in a special issue of the “Studies of Changing Societies” journal. The School participants also took part in interactive workshops and had practical tasks and case studies that enhanced their professional competences for academic integrity.
