Students of the NUOA Learned About the Features of Job Search and CV Writing

The lecture on aspects of job search, preparing a resume and specifics of behaviour during the job interview took place at the Ostroh Academy on October 23. The lecturer was the Head of the Department of Active Support for the Unemployed of Ostroh Municipal Branch of the Rivne Oblast Employment Center Liudmyla Vus-Stoliarchuk.
“I graduated from the Ostroh Academy in 2006; I am an economist by education. If it is difficult for you to find a job, remember that you can apply to the Employment Centers in any part of Ukraine. It is in our competence to help with job search, selection of vacancies and advanced training, integration into a new profession,” tells the speaker.
According to a specialist, labor professions are particularly relevant today. Among the boys, the most popular is the work of a waiter, a bartender, and among girls - hairdressing, services of a master of manicure and work of make-up artist.
According to Liudmyla Vus-Stoliarchuk, there are various ways to find a job:
- to contact the job search agency;
- to contact friends, colleagues and friends;
- to post a resume on specialized sites.
Features of writing a resume:
- to indicate a practical experience;
- correspondence of the written things with reality;
- summary scope;
- grammatical correctness and form compliance;
- the description should correspond to the clearly set goal;
- to focus on achievements.
In addition, the participants of the consultative lecture learned about the possibilities of advanced training and studying, namely, courses from the Rivne Center for Professional and Technical Education.
We want to recall that the consultations at the Ostroh Academy are held regularly within the framework of the cooperation of the Ostroh Municipal Center for Employment with the Student Employment Department of the NUOA.
