Ostroh Academy to Cooperate with Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences

On 12 September Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences delegation (director Grażyna Markvaldienė, dean of the Faculty of Technologies Jūratė Vaitekonienė, and director of the International Department Jūratė Danielene) visited the National University of Ostroh Academy.
As a result of their visit the academic cooperation agreement has been signed by the National University of Ostroh Academy and Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences.
«The cooperation implies doing research in the fields of common interest, improving the qualifications of academic staff, organising students and faculty exchange programs, cooperative scientific projects, joint publications and learning material exchange»,
Apart from this, the guests from Lithuania and the Rector of Ostroh Academy Dr. Ihor Pasichnyk discussed the possibility of developing cooperative double-degree programs.
Later on Ostroh Academy and Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences will develop a detailed syllabus that will be signed after further counsel and negotiations.
Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences is Lithuania’s third largest university having strong reputation and guaranteeing high-quality education. The Bachelor Degree Program is focused on practical education. There are 3 faculties at Klaipeda University: the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Technologies, and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
