The Art of Music Reigns at Ostroh Academy

Classical music can be heard at the National University of Ostroh Academy again. On 11 November, students and faculty of the university together with residents of Ostroh had the opportunity to enjoy the performance of Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy.
The concert entwined the part of tender piano performed by the Merited Artist of Ukraine Nataliia Pelekh with expressive manner of cello playing by the laureate of All-Ukrainian Viola and Cello Competition Oksana Lytvynenko.
Nataliia Pelekh enjoyed performing at Ostroh Academy. The audience is very nice and grateful here.
«This concert is special for me as a soloist. The aura Ostroh Academy exudes charmed and enchanted us. I have a feeling of spiritual purification here. It is a great pleasure to play for such an audience». The musicians performed the most difficult compositions for cello such as the Sonata in 3 parts for Cello and Piano by Luigi Boccherini, 3 parts of Sonata for Cello and Piano by Pietro Locatelli, the Sonata in A minor for Arpeggione and Piano by Franz Schubert.
Together with the performers a famous composer, cellist, the Merited Worker of Arts and Shevchenko National Prize winner the mentor of the soloist Oksana Lytvynenko Yurii Laniuk visited Ostroh Academy.
The concert ended with loud applause and «bravo» exclamations indicating the incredible artistic pleasure the audience had got from the musical performance. The musicians thanked for the applause and promised to come to Ostroh Academy again with a new program.
