Ostroh Academy Lecturer is the Winner of 10th Jerzy Giedroyc Contest

A lecturer of the Department of Religious Studies and Theology of the National University of Ostroh Academy PhD Vitalii Shchepanskyi has won in the 10th Jerzy Giedroyc Contest 2016.
The contest was established in 2006, when the Embassy of Republic of Poland in Ukraine announced the first selection of scientific works on the history and current state of Poland and Polish-Ukrainian relations.
The rules of the 10th Contest remained unchanged: participants had to send their papers on history and current state of Poland and Polish-Ukrainian relations (in print or e-version), a short outline of the work (synopsis or abstract) and an academic CV of the author to the address of the Embassy of Republic of Poland in Kyiv.
The papers were refereed by the scholars of joint Polish-Ukrainian jury. Vitalii Shchepanskyi entered the Contest with his paper «The Review on the Religious Philosophy of the Middle Ages in „Threnos“ by M. Smotrytskyi» refereed by Natalia M. Yakovenko.
Speaking of the Contest, it should be mentioned that its winner gets the opportunity to undergo a training in Poland in the nearest future.
