On 28 September, an exhibition of paintings by Oleksa Novakivskyi, a famous Ukrainian Post-Impressionist artist, from the collection of Professor Mushynka (Slovakia) opened in the underground gallery of the Academy.
Beginning from 1990s, the painting collection by Oleksa Novakivskyi has been exhibited all around the world. Currently, the largest private collection of Novakivskyi's paintings (passing by the collections owned by his family) consists of 55 works.
Owing to the cooperation of the Rector's office of the University, the NaUOA Institute for Ukrainian Diaspora Studies, the History of Ostroh Academy Museum and Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, Oleksa Novakivskyi's paintings will be exhibited in the Art Gallery of the Academy for two weeks.
