On 26-27 September, students of the National University of Ostroh Academy had an opportunity to attend a lecture of Volodymyr Ovsiichuk, a Ukrainian art critic, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, Shevchenko National Prize and Franko Academic Prize laureate, and the bearer of the Vasyl-Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi Medal. Mr Ovsiichuk has more than 135 published research papers, including 15 monographs. The lecture was about national colour studies.
Volodymyr Ovsiichuk is a Professor at the Department of Academic Painting of Lviv National Academy of Arts. He has been teaching there for 67 years.
