Ostroh Academy is among the top twenty universities in Ukraine

According to the rating of higher educational institutions recently published by The Money magazine, the National University of Ostroh Academy is among the top twenty universities of Ukraine.

The Money ranked the top higher educational institutions in Ukraine according to five categories: economics, law, the humanities, technical sciences and building/construction. The creators of the rating had sent the lists of the universities providing professional training in these fields to the leading employers and asked them to objectively evaluate each university. Thus, based on the number of points, the university got its place in the rating in a certain field of speciality.

From among the universities of Western Ukraine, the National University of Ostroh Academy and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv were the only ones included in the rating of higher educational institutions in the categories of legal and humanitarian sciences. In the category of economics they were joined by Lviv Polytechnic National University and Ternopil National Economic University.

According to the results, Ostroh Academy gained the tenth and the thirteenth place in the humanitarian and legal speciality fields respectively.

It is worth reminding that several years ago, according to the rating of the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Ostroh Academy gained the sixth place among the twenty-four classic universities of Ukraine, and received the status of a self-governing (autonomous) national research university and joined the European University Association.
