The first attempts in the history of Ukrainian science to translate Sunnah, which facilitates better understanding of Arab Muslim culture, are now being made in the National University of Ostroh Academy.
The translation will consist of the most authentic Hadiths, collections of saying, act or tacit approval ascribed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his companions, as well as exegeses by Arabic authors of different epochs. Some of the commentaries have not yet been translated into any European language.
Famous Middle East experts are expected to take part in the project.
