Ostroh Academy: historical traditions and the present

On 5 October the National University of Ostroh Academy hosted a regional scientific and practical conference Ostroh Academy: Historical Traditions and the Present initiated by Mykola Kovalskyi Department of History. This event was dedicated to the 435th anniversary of Ostroh Academy and commemorated Professor Mykola Kovalskyi, a famous Ukrainian historian and a founder of Ostroh Academy.
The lecturers of Ostroh Academy departments of History, Country Studies, Religious Studies, Documentation and Information delivered their speeches. Also, the meeting was attended by Taras Vykhovanets, Deputy Director for Studies of Netishyn Museum of Local Lore, and painter and restorer of Ostroh State Historical and Cultural Reserve Mykola Bendiuk.
