The seventeenth birthday of Ostroh Academy was full of interesting events, but mass action Embrace the Academy turned out to be a real surprise.
It was initiated by the Student Brotherhood and supported by the university administration as part of celebrations and a way of hearty congratulations to Alma Mater. Almost a thousand of students took part in it. Together with costumed Halshka Ostrozka and Prince Vasyl-Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi, the students joined hands and ‘embraced’ the university loudly glorifying it.
The students have passed on a time capsule symbolizing the renowned history of foundation and revival of Ostroh Academy.
