Czeslaw Milosz reading

The lecturers of the Department of Indo-European Languages and the students have organized together Czeslaw Milosz reading, dedicated to the famous Polish poet and Nobel Prize winner.
The event featured poetry reading in the original language and translations performed by Halyna Maksymchuk, Marharyta Kaliuta and Khrystyna Fedorych, the 4th year students majoring in the Ukrainian language and literature.
To familiarize the attenders with the biography of the master, they were offered a documentary about the poet.
The reading ended with an awarding ceremony. Olha Bodnar, the student of the Faculty of the Humanities took the first place in the category Poetry Recitation, Khrystyna Fedorych, also the student of the Faculty of the Humanities, performed the best translation, and Iryna Radkovska, the student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic languages, was awarded for her originality in the presentation of the works by Czeslaw Milosz.
