A unique study of the Scandinavian religious texts launched

Another unique research project has been launched at the Department of the Humanities. Vitalii Shchepanskyi, a student of the Religious Studies Master’s Programme, initiated the translation of The Saga of Christianity (Kristni saga), an important monument of the Old Icelandic literature, written in the mid-thirteenth century.
Vitalii plans to publish a separate monograph of the translation next spring.
Candidate of historical sciences and Chairman of Post-/Graduate Student Scientific Society Akademik MykhailoYakubovych noted that the Ukrainian translation of The Saga of Christianity will become an important event in the national historical and religious science.
