Semifinal games ended! Competition continues!

Quarterfinal game of the 7^th Nationwide Tournament for Young Journalists ended this morning. The results of this round identified nine teams that would compete in the semifinal. The member of judicial panel, the editor of online newspaper "Sotnia" Alex Zakharchenko shared his impression of the teams with us: "The difference between the participants and their level of training is small - basically, there were no weak performances or weak teams - all members are worthy. Some teams that didn’t get in the semifinals, were still worth it, but unfortunately we had to choose only 9 teams. 

Team members of "Espada" Olena, Victoriia and Valeriia, who came from Sumy region, confirmed the words of Mr Alex: "It’s our first time that we got to the nationwide stage of the tournament, although we often competed at the regional level. All teams are interesting, pleasant to communicate with and we really enjoy the tournament and our presence here. There is a friendly atmosphere among the teams as well as healthy competition, there are no negative attitudes of one another, and everybody objectively estimates their own strengths. We live together, play together and spend free time together! These makes participation in the national stage more interesting and rich than in the regional. Surrounding atmosphere also promotes this, because Ostroh and Ostrog Academy impresses with its peace, beauty and uniqueness. 

After “fierce fighting” in the semifinal games were finally defined the names of those who tomorrow morning will fight for victory. We can congratulate the team members of "Espada" (Sumy), "Bez sekretiv" (Rivne region.), "Chetverta Vlada" (Volyn region) and "Obiektyv" (Sumy region).
