Day of Science at FRGL

All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Linguistic and Sociocultural Aspects of Communication" took place on 2 February within the 10th anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages. The conference has become a tradition and was held for the third time already. This year the number of the participants has grown significantly. Students from different universities have sent their research papers for publication. In particular, the works arrived from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute', Ivan Ohiienko Kamianets-Podilskyi National University, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. In total, 45 students took part in the conference. Among them were the representatives from Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade, Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University, Horlivka State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages and Ostroh Academy National University.
Vice-rector for studies and scholarly activities, Professor Petro Kraliuk, teaching staff of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, representatives of the Student Brotherhood and FRGL students attended the plenary meeting of the conference.
The following breakup groups functioned at the conference: "Innovative technologies of foreign languages teaching", "The problems of interpretation of modern world literature texts", "Lexical, grammatical and stylistic aspects of translation", "Verbalization of cognitive structures in the linguistic picture of the world", "Communicative strategies and tactics."
After the conference the participants received certificates confirming their contribution. Collected articles, presented at the conference will be published shortly.
According to the conference coordinator, student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, Yevheniia Pastushok, Ostroh Academy students are actively occupied with scientific work and therefore more and more of higher educational establishments cooperate with our university.
