During a three-day visit to the neighbouring Republic of Belarus the third and fourth year students of the College of Economics of Ostroh Academy National University took part in the work of the Third International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference Scientific Potential of Youth, the Future of Belarus that took place in Polesia State University in Pinsk, Brest voblast.
Healthy way of life, no rubbish, developed infrastructure, financial security of vulnerable strata of the population, high social and moral standards and many other things – this is the way the students of the Academy saw modern Belarus.
34 higher educational establishments of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus took part in the conference. The subjects in 11 sections of the conference concerned general economic processes and complicated economic phenomena and problems.
As a result of the conference, five of nine students of Ostroh Academy took first place, and other two got the certificates of the second degree.
An agreement about collaboration was concluded between student societies of the two universities. The leaders of Ostroh Academy National University and Polesia State University are also expected to sign the official agreement of collaboration.
