First Job Fair Forum in Ostroh Academy

The First Job Fair Forum for the specialists in information sphere was held   in Ostroh Academy on 25 March as a part of the week of the College of Political Studies and Information Management celebration.

The programme of the event included the presentation of employers, the demonstration of student art and scientific achievements, a training on the topic “The Sources of Job Search” from Rivne Regional Employment Centre conducted by Lesia Parchuk. Informal communication of employers and students, interviews with the opportunity of further employment, placement for internship or practical work were important elements of the fair.   

Some other events also took place during the forum: the presentation of college specialties in Assembly Hall, employers’ firms presentation, etc. The representatives from Shepetivka, Slavuta, Netishyn, Ostroh and Rivne Employment Centres, Ostroh Town Council, NGOs, mass media and others took part in the Job Fair.

Oleksandr Yaremko conducted the training titled “The Choice of Movement Direction or Choose the Right Profession” for all interested people. Afterwards, the winners of the Best Resume Contest had an opportunity to be interviewed by the employers.

Such Job Fairs are a great chance. Besides, it is a good opportunity of lucrative collaboration between higher educational establishments and potential employers.
