Serhii Zhadan Read Works In Ostroh Academy

Ostroh Academy students had a meeting with one of the representatives of alternative Ukrainian literature Serhii Zhadan. The meeting took place with the assistance of Ostroh Academy professor and a writer Oleksandr Irvanets.
It was the second visit Serhii Zhadan made to Ostroh Academy. The meeting was conducted in the format of informal communication. Oleksandr Irvanets introduced Serhii Zhadan as Ukrainian Artur Rembo, and Mr Zhadan read his own poems from his new collection Ethiopia. In such a way he made a presentation of his new collection. Serhii Zhadan’s poems are mainly about problems of death, time and drug addiction. All the students had an opportunity to ask questions about the main features of his works and his life in general.
At the end of the meeting Serhii Zhadan read some more works from his book Maradona and expressed his desire to teach in Ostroh Academy.
