Ostroh Academy Folk Amateur Chorus took part in International Youth Festival of Sacred Singing in Kremenets.
Ostroh Academy Small Chorus visited Kremenets for the second time. The festival Ave Maria was held for the third time and combined the celebration of The Day of Kremenets and Mother’s Day, which in 2008 was on 11 May.
The Chorus performed some pieces of sacred singing in Kremenets Church and represented Ostroh Academy on gala concert in M. Verykivskyi Art School. The final gala concert finished with the performance by all participants with the song Obnimite zh, Braty Moi (Embrace, My Brothers) (lyrics by Taras Shevchenko) and Mnohaia Lita (Wishes for Long Life) in Ukrainian and Polish, since the choruses from Poland participated in the festival as well.
