Eduard Balashov, the Rector of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Doctor of Science (Psychology) and Full professor, delivered the opening statements:

'I sincerely welcome you to the traditional 'All-Ukrainian Forum of the OA Future Students', a unique phenomenon in the educational landscape of Ukraine. It is the Ostroh Academy of the 16th century where the formation of the elite began, the leaders who became pioneers in establishing the Ukrainian state. Our university is unique due to its historical role and the mission it fulfilled, and also thanks to the present-day lecturers, students, and graduates who are already shaping the modern history of Ukraine. Ostroh Academy is educating a generation that fully understands the value of national traditions and heritage and boldly steps forward, bringing Ukrainian spirit, knowledge and progress to the society.'

During the event, Mariia Matviichuk, the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Doctor of Philosophy (Law) and Associate Professor, focused on the peculiarities and innovations of the 2025 admission campaign for enrolment in various specialities/educational programmes; state, nominal and personal grants provided by the Ostroh Academy.

'The friendly academic staff and students of Ostroh Academy are eager to communicate with applicants and make every effort to make Admission 2025 successful despite the martial law and current challenges. The main objective of the Open Day is to make the applicants feel the incredibly welcoming and inspiring atmosphere of the university and to get assistance in choosing educational programmes. Ostroh Academy seamlessly combines tradition and innovation, which is why it is the best university for applicants!'

Mariia Matviichuk noted.

During the event, all the attendees had a chance to ask various questions about the peculiarities of studying, accommodation in dormitories, grants and other matters of student life.
