Every year on February 21, the world celebrates International Mother Language Day, established by UNESCO in 1999. Language is the history of the people, their worldview, the most important resource of communication between people, and knowledge of the world.
The National University of Ostroh Academy hosted a number of events dedicated to this day.
On this day, Ostroh Academy hosted a festive event with the participation of foreign students studying at the University. The event was held in a mixed form – online through the Google Meet and live, in compliance with quarantine requirements.
During the event, international students from Nigeria, Pakistan, Ecuador, Cameroon, and the Union of the Comoros spoke about their countries in their native languages and read poems.
