On April 21, 2021, the British Times Higher Education published a ranking assessing the impact of universities on social and economic development (Impact Rankings 2021) for the third time. The university's impact ranking demonstrates how the higher education sector around the world is working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The third edition of this ranking comprises of 1115 universities from 94 countries (while in 2020 it comprised of 768 universities from 85 countries).
The results of this ranking once again confirmed that the Ostroh academy provides a high level of educational services to its students not only at the level of Ukraine, but also at the world level. They also demonstrate the contribution of our staff and students to the provision of quality education, gender equality, peace, justice and strong institutions, the creation of decent working conditions and economic growth, as well as the achievement of other SDGs.
According to the results of Impact Rankings 2021, the National University of Ostroh academy again entered the group 401-600. For information: Times Higher Education Data and Analytics Director Duncan Ross notes that the methodology of this ranking has hardly changed in 2021, but the wording of the questions has been simplified to improve the consistency between the various metrics. Impact Rankings 2021 also pays close attention to research on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and evaluates the work of Higher Education Institutions to provide quality education, health and well-being, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, innovation, and achievement of other SDGs.
