The 7th All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference "Student Cultural Readings"

On March 13-14, the 7th All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference "Student Cultural Readings" took place. It was held by the Student Scientific Society of Cultural Researchers with the support of the Department of Cultural Studies and Philosophy.

In the framework of the conference, the event began with the greetings of the Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the NUOA Dmytro Shevchuk, Head of the Department of Cultural Studies and Philosophy Mykola Zaitsev and the organizer of the conference Bohdan Marchenko. They talked about the history of the conference and wished the students successful and bright reports.

By tradition, the work of the sections was focused on the philosophical and theoretical aspects of the culture studies, the vexing problems of historical and cultural studies, ethnography and ethnology, and ethnic interpretations of modern culture.

Although the topics of scientific reports were different, topics related to the traditional Ukrainian culture and issues of psychoanalysis of its possibilities in the field of study of cultural phenomena became particularly relevant and interesting during the discussion. The second year Psychology students of the National University of Ostroh Academy joined the event, and that increased the psychoanalytic potential of the conference.

Distinguished philosophical and cultural problems caused dynamic and fruitful discussions between the participants of the conference, confirming the timeliness and necessity of such events.
