«Today, each of you can choose among a wide range of professions and universities. Moreover, you should choose a higher education institution that allow its graduates to be in demand in the labor market. Thus, the main prestige indicator of a higher educational institution in developed countries is the level of demand of its graduates as specialists. The Ostroh Academy is exactly such a university. Employers are encouraging even those students who have not yet received a bachelor's degree. You have the opportunity to choose the university, which holds high positions in the rankings, and it is not corrupt», - emphasized Ihor Pasichnyk.
Yulia Kharchuk, Assistant Rector for Educational Management, Candidate of Sciences (in Economics), Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Auditing explained the conditions and features of this year's admission campaign to our guests. She demonstrated to the participants of the event web-sites and social networks` pages that provide the necessary information for entrants.
Valery Myronchuk, the Deputy Head of the Student Brotherhood of the National University of Ostroh Academy, told about the organization of leisure activities for students, in particular the work of the Culture and Art Center, sports sections and volunteer units.
Later, the prospective students attended the dean's offices, talked with the deans and other lecturers about studying in certain specialties. Also, schoolchildren and their parents visited excursions to the museum complex of the National University of Ostroh Academy and had the opportunity to attend any classes, as well as to visit student dormitories in order to feel the spirit of real campus life.
Yelena Krokhmaliuk, the pupil from Rivne Region, shared her impressions:
«After today's visit to the Ostroh Academy, I will probably put it as a first priority among other universities. I like this educational institution, the attitude of lecturers to students, the educational process in particular. It feels like I'm currently in a museum where I can enjoy various exhibits. I plan to choose the Faculty of International Relations and try to take part in some student exchange program and study in another country. But then I want to return to Ukraine in order to change something here.»
