Economics Students Shared Experience

On 10 April the Fourth International Scientific and Practical Student Conference Problems and Prospects of Economic Development In Market Conditions took place in Ostroh Academy National University. It was one more possibility for economics students from different higher educational institutions to discuss burning issues concerninng market relations formation in our country. There were also visitors from Belarus.

The opening speech was delievered by Professor, Doctor of Philosophy, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Scholarly Activities Petro Kraliuk. The speech of welcome was delivered by the Candidate of Economic Sciences, Dean of the College of Economics Liudmyla Kozak.

More than 80 students took part in the conference, particularly students from Ostroh Academy National University, Polesia State University in Pinsk (Belarus) and many other higher educational institutions from Rivne, Kharkiv, Poltava, Mariupol, Lviv, Kyiv and Chernivtsi. The participants were divided into 6 sections. They discussed development problems and prospects of the national economic systems, budget and taxation systems, banking system functioning, the agents of entrepreneurial activities and Ukrainian finacial market, reasons and causes of Ukrainian and world economic crisis, etc.

At the end of the conference the most active participants of the event were rewarded and all the participants had an opportunity to have an excursion around Ostroh and Ostroh Academy National University.
