Biletskyi Prize Laureate Teaches at Ostroh Academy National University

The lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian, Professor Yaroslav Polischuk became the Annual Biletskyi Prize laureate for the best works in history of literature and literary criticism.
Summing up the works of scholars in 2008 in the field of the history of literature and literary Criticism, the commission made special mention of the books by Yaroslav Polischuk Literature as a Geocultural Project, The Landscapes of the Person and From Discourses and Discussions. According to Mr. Polischuk, the committee was unbiased and extremely objective while choosing the winner. “I am very happy that such reward exists,” Mr. Polischuk remarked commenting on the generally deplorable state of Ukrainian history of literature and literary criticism.
Mykhailo Slaboshpytskyi, who had the meeting with the students on 28 January, was the one who brought the news that such a prestigious award had been won by Ostroh Academy lecturer.
