High Art Performance In Ostroh Academy

The artists of Rivne Philharmonic visited Ostroh Academy with their concert programme.

Ostroh Academy is an establishment where spiritual education matters much. All Colleges included the course of Music Art in their teaching programmes to acquaint the students with classic music masterpieces, particularly by regular visits to Kyiv National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Rivne Drama Theatre, Lviv Drama Theatre, etc. “An educated person is not only a professional, but also the person who can distinguish the tunes by Mozart from the tunes by Beethoven”, said OA Rector Ihor Pasichnyk.

The performance of soloist Anastasiia Peretiagina and small orchestra from Rivne Philharmonic took place as a part of the Program of Student Spiritual Education on 27 February in Ostroh Student and Teachers Church of the university.

The artists played compositions of European classic. The most appraised by the public among them were arias from the operas by great composers Mozart, Handel and Vivaldi.

Co-operation between Rivne Philharmonic and Ostroh Academy National University has already become traditional and they plan to organize similar performances in the nearest future.
