Celebrations of the Week of the College of Romance and Germanic Languages

On 28 January the traditional celebrations of the Week of the College of Romance and Germanic Languages launched at Ostroh Academy introducing the great variety of events. The opening ceremony was the starting point with the participation of the guests from Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University who together with the Dean of the College Svitlana Novoseletska and Student Dean Dmytro Panchuk greeted and congratulated everyone on the occasion of the anniversary.
The schedule for the week is full of interesting events including everyday treating with the dishes of the countries whose national languages are taught at the College.
Tuesday was the Change Image Day and a Day of a virtual trip to France organized by the students and teachers of French.
Wednesday was the German Day dedicated to the German language and culture. In the evening, the film Pay Forward was shown on screen with the subsequent discussion of it.
Thursday night was an entertainment with musical And Dreams Come True written and performed by the students.
Friday was the Student Self-Government Day during which students and university lecturers switched roles.
According to Svitlana Novoseletska, these celebrations are the perfect opportunity to unite everyone’s efforts and demonstrate students’ potential.
