The Exchange Programme Participants Returned to Ukraine

At Ostroh Academy National University run four Canadian–Ukrainian exchange programmes, aimed at broadening the outlook of participants and their acquiring new knowledge in the development of democratic society, volunteerism, leadership, education and culture, etc.
Recently the Rector of Ostroh Academy Ihor Pasichnyk held a meeting with participants of CORE 2007-2008 exchange programmes, one of them being coordinated by the Department of Foregin Relations and another by the college of Romance and Germanic Languages.
During three months, the participants of the programme will reside in Netishyn, Khmel’nytsk region, and volunteer in secondary schools of the city, kindergartens, art school, Rehabilitation Center for Children with Developmental Disorders, library, museum and Khmel’nitsk Nuclear Power Plant.
In addition, still run the exchange programmes ECO-LEADERSHIP (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan) and CORE 2007-2008 (Sooki, British Columbia), whose participants will return to Ukraine in December and March 2008 respectively.
