Issues of Spiritual Development Discussed

On 14 November the first All-Ukrainian student scientific and practice conference Spiritual Development of Personality took place in Ostroh Academy National University on the . initiative of Student Scientific Society.

Many young scholars of Ukraine, mass media and representatives of public organizations in Rivne region took part in the event.

Spirituality is first of all forming of moral consciousness: moral standards, principles, ideals, concepts. That is why spiritual crisis of personality is the loss of sense of life. Acuteness of eternal issues does not depend on age. However, their unsettledness often leads to deep psychological crisis of personality.

“The problem of spirituality belongs to philosophical problems commonly called “eternal”. It becomes especially urgent in dramatic periods of human history, one of which Ukraine witnesses nowadays; in times when new phenomena and circumstances of life adjust the methods and means of the choice of life and social self-determination of individuals,” said the student of Ivan Franko Lviv National University Maksym Koliada.
