One of the most important problems in Rivne region is the low morale and spirituality of the young generation. That is why the participants of the round table discussion considered the issues of the role of student self-government bodies in educating youth, offered possible steps in providing educational process in higher educational institutions. The involvement of a large number of students in public activities and the formation of the active position in life was noted as the most effective step in educating students. “The participation of the student self-government bodies in educating youth is a really topical issue nowadays, since the initiativeness of Ukrainian students is very low comparing to other European countries. This problem lacks solution, and Ostroh Academy, as the university with active students, must be a sample to other educational institutions”, - shared her impressions Vice-chairperson of the Ostroh Academy National University Student Brotherhood Alla Dubrovyk.

The Head of the Regional Initiatives Foundation in Rivne region Zurab Kantaria was the meeting guest. He drew attention of the present to the issue of involving schoolchildren in public activities who in the future will become the basis for active students.

The results of the round table discussion will be handed to the student self-government bodies of other higher educational institutions for the development of the common conception of the educational process in HEI.
