Goal of the Educational and Professional Program: to provide the public sector with highly qualified specialists for security, defense, analytical, socio-political, and research activities in the field of strategic management of national security (in separate areas of provision and types of activities) and form a new generation of specialists who have the appropriate competencies, are able to think systematically and innovatively and solve complex applied problems in conditions of dynamic changes and modern challenges.

Characteristics of the Educational and Professional Program: 

Acquisition of professional competencies that ensure the solution of complex and practical problems of research and/or innovative nature in the field of national security management, capacity building, and crisis management of the security and defense sector of Ukraine using modern theories and methods, which involves conducting research and implementing innovations and is characterized by the uncertainty of conditions and requirements.

The Educational and Professional program is aimed at mastering methods of strategic management of national security and is focused on ensuring information, analytical, and research activities in the field of national security.

The Educational and Professional program provides the completion of two internships – practical and analytical, at a laboratory for the study of hybrid threats to national security at NUOA, the state security institutions, non-state analytical centers, departments of state authorities, and local self-government, as well as at public and private management sectors organizations in the field of security.
