Goal of the educational and scientific program: to provide training for specialists (PhDs) who have appropriate competencies and moral and ethical qualities, necessary for research and teaching activities, career growth in the Branch of academic and applied (pedagogical and age) psychology with taking into account the principles of academic leadership, interdisciplinarity, innovation, and flexibility of response to social changes.

Characteristics of the educational and scientific program:

The educational and scientific program is Goaled at the formation of a systematic scientific worldview and the ability to conduct scientific research on the problems of the psychology of a person in the conditions of education, upbringing, and development, taking into account general human conditions values, and norms of professional ethics.

Experimental stages of graduate students' research are carried out at the Institute of practical psychology and psychotherapy, the research laboratory of cognitive psychology. Great attention during teaching is paid to the problems and methodologies of metacognitive research.

The educational program provides a post-graduate internship in institutions of higher education, preparation for international publishing and project-grant work activities; the possibility of an international internship, and academic mobility.
