Specialty: 032 History and Archaeology

Goal of the educational and scientific program: to prepare a competent and competitive specialist in the specialty "History and Archeology" who is capable of applying theoretical knowledge, practical competencies, and skills for conducting research, analytical, scientific-organizational, pedagogical-organizational, and practical activities in the Branch of historical science, culture, museum and archival affairs, teaching in higher educational institutions.

Characteristics of the educational and scientific program: 

The program was developed taking into account the experience of training doctors of philosophy in history in leading Ukrainian and foreign universities and training of scientific personnel by specialty. It includes theoretical, professional-practical, didactic, and scientific training of specialists.

As a result of a postgraduate internship, students must have formed the didactic, organizational, communicative, and research skills of the teacher of higher education institutions, necessary to ensure the main aspects of educational activity: educational, methodical, and research work.

The scientific training of specialists involves the formation of competencies in graduate students, necessary for scientific activity: publication of articles, theses, monographs, preparation of speeches at conferences, seminars, round tables, etc., and writing dissertation research.
