Educational and Professional Program "POLITICAL SCIENCE". 052 Political science

Branch of knowledge: 05 Social and behavioral sciences

Speciality: 052 Political science

Goal of the Educational and Professional Program: to train qualified political scientists with a basic categorical-conceptual and analytical-research apparatus of political science, knowledge of political theory and practice. The acquired competencies can be used in expert-analytical, political-organizational, consulting and public activities.

Characteristics of the Educational and Professional Program:

The theoretical content of the subject area includes key approaches and concepts in normative and positive political theory, political analysis, comparative and applied political science, special political science disciplines. The higher education applicant learns the main approaches and methods of policy analysis: public choice theory, rational choice theory, game theory, neo-institutionalism theory, etc. An integral part of education is mastering the methodology of modern social sciences, in particular, quantitative and qualitative methods and tools for applied analysis and statistical programming language. Teaching some courses in English and Polish. Internship at the partner universities of the Erasmus + program.

Accreditation: the Educational and Professional Program is accredited.
